Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how Killbot Technologies, LLC ("Killbot", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use the Killbot service.
2. Data We Collect

Killbot does not perform identity verification (KYC), collect government IDs, or store Social Security numbers. KYC obligations on your funds are handled by your cryptocurrency exchange, not by us.
3. How We Use Data
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Killbot service
- To execute trades per your bot configuration
- To process subscription payments via Stripe
- To comply with legal obligations (tax records, sanctions screening, regulator requests)
- To communicate with you about service changes, security alerts, and support
- To improve the product (aggregated and de-identified telemetry only)
4. Who We Share Data With
- Stripe, Inc. — subscription payment processing (email, billing address, payment method tokens)
- Firebase / Google Cloud — authentication, push notifications, crash reporting, Android app distribution
- Render.com — cloud hosting of our API and database
- Resend.com — transactional email delivery
- Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection for killbot.cash and api.killbot.cash
- Your chosen cryptocurrency exchanges — API calls initiated by you, using your API key
- Law enforcement and regulators — when required by valid legal process
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active, plus up to 7 years thereafter for tax, audit, and compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your account at any time; we will delete data not subject to legal retention obligations.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your personal information ("right to be forgotten")
- Port your data in a machine-readable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Opt out of marketing communications

7. California (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information, so no opt-out of "sale" is required.
8. European Economic Area / UK (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA or UK, the legal basis for our processing is: (a) contract performance (bot operation, billing), (b) legal obligation (KYC/AML), (c) legitimate interest (product improvement, fraud prevention), or (d) consent (marketing). You have rights under GDPR Articles 15–22.
9. Security
We encrypt exchange API keys at rest using AES-256 with keys managed by our cloud provider's KMS. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. TLS 1.2+ for all transport. SOC 2 compliance targeted for 2026.
10. International Transfers
We may transfer your data to the United States, where Killbot is headquartered, and to other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Such transfers are subject to Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
11. Children
Killbot is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
12. Changes
We will notify you of material changes to this Privacy Policy at least 30 days before they take effect.
